"Hubby & I recently had our 25th Wedding Anniversary at the Anchor Inn and stayed the Friday & Saturday nights camping and then joined by our 98 guests. Simon, Toby and the whole Anchor team were amazing right from the start of booking the venue 2 years ago and then during and after. Nothing was too much trouble no matter how big or small. Food excellent, staff amazing, venue & location perfect 5 stars all round. They catered for the dietary requirements needed for the function with no hesitation. The food was absolutely amazing, throughout the whole weekend."

Off to the middle of nowhere for s wedding reception at The Anchor Inn and very good it was too. Felt very well looked after in the marquee at the back of the pub. Unfortunately it rained but love was in the air and everyone had a good time

We recently had our wedding (21 July 2012) at the Anchor, we can not fault it. Simon, Stephanie, Julie and the rest of the staff were fantastic to deal with and always very helpful and friendlly. The venue was perfect, our guests all commented on the amazing setting, it is beautiful! We had a lamb roast and salads which was brilliant, the eton mess we had for pudding went down very well with everyone.
The location and boating on the river has given us some amazing photos from the day. It was a perfect day, with a fantastic atmosphere.
