We randomly ended up at the anchor inn whilst driving around looking for a pint, and couldn't have been more surprised to find this little gem. A long one way track down we weren't expecting much but we found a bustling pub with a large front and back garden that backs onto the river, where you can rent boats out hourly. The food was good, the staff were really friendly and helpful even with the big crowds enjoying the sun and there were plenty of seats to accommodate. There are also plenty of nice walks surrounding which you might as well enjoy whilst you're there, we will certainly be returning.
